I need an SB2 to fit the enlosure I'm using for a DIY project. eBay has
been letting me down. Does anyone want to upgrade their SB2 for a new
white SB3?
-US owners only
-Wireless version preferred
-Functioning perfectly
-Display should still be good and bright
-Case condition not so important

Careful there, jaysung, some of us 'oldies' might take offense at that
:-)
But seriously, although the high frequency response of my ear
I'd like flac as well, but it's easy to convert between any lossless
format and flac, so I suppose it doesn't really matter. Unfortunately,
it's probably smartest for them to bet on lossless WMA and have folks
who want FLAC convert it since most people who know enough to choose

I would suggest waiting until you had enough cash to make a big impact
with speakers and amplification. I don't know your speakers, but the
rest of it looks good.

Not sure how much of the hi-fi+ material I can quote but here goes

Hi,
exciting idea. How will you cope with copyright protection? wma with
drm? Then I wouldn't be interested. BTW.: All the fuzz about 24bits and
96khz is to be considered with caution. There is a quite lengthy thread
here and it basically states that it is hard to hear the differences.

My initial impression upon reading that sentence was that you did not
consider the tests as having showed anything. I am sure that is not

On the subject of HiFi Critic I had a long chat with Paul Messenger
recently at a hi-fi show. He's a real gentleman. (Paul - if you're
reading this - as agreed I'm identifying myself as "the guy with the
Pink Floyd t-shirt"!)
HiFi Critic is a new magazine, and goodness knows we need a breath of
