Inguz will run on newer Macs but there is no installer package for Mac last I checked. I was able to follow some instructions posted by muski on the Inguz forum that use the console to run the install. Certainly not the easiest way to do things - but you get used to it. Search the Inguz forum

The specs for the Transporter include the following: Jitter (standard deviation): 11ps at oscillator (intrinsic jitter) 17ps at DAC 35ps at S/PDIF receiver I am wondering how slaving the Transporter to the dCS combo would theoretically affect those numbers? -- Blackstone

Well, in a clock-linked configuration I would expect the jitter to be determined by the clock in your DAC - so what are those specs? (the cable that transmits the clock from DAC to TP is also part of the equation... but since this can be implemented using properly suitable coax and BNC connectors

12 : the sonic improvments depend on the suplly of the digital part of your system. The better is the supply the less noticeable is the wordclock. For me the use of a symetric supply for the transporte, the DAC and the wordclock reduced the benefit of the wordclock 3 : I did'not have problems

I'm still struggling with the whole on-the fly decompression of lossless formats causes jitter nonsense on that thread you just made me read :) Another 15 minutes of my life wasted. I'm personally happy that there is NO audible difference between replaying lossless vs PCM on SB hardware.
