So basically the binaries are the same as jive_alsa for 0.6 and 0.7, just recompiled. I tried the recompiled 0.7 and it had the same issue as the old one ie harsh treble compared to 0.6, this is on a new dac so can't blame the benchmark dac1 for that. back to 0.6 and very nice it sounds to.
