I'm not David, but I'm one of the admins on the DNA project.
Since your last name is Sellars, you can take a Y-DNA test for your Sellars
line. It will trace your father, your grandfather Sellars, your
great-grandfather Sellars, his father and his father and so on. You'll get
a focus on
