My guess is that you leave the --one-file-system (which is present in v4), and

the disk array.
But even if the disk array is the bottleneck, max performances are
rarelly reached because backups occure at different times.

selected, this backup
will never be deleted
I don't have the skills to code it myself, so I just give ideas, anyone
else would like to have this features?

You have a 'f' before each file name. If you are using compression,
you'll need to zcat each file before using it:
/usr/local/BackupPC/bin/BackupPC_zCat \
/opt/backuppc/files/pc/localhost/35/f%2f/fetc/fshadow > \
/path/where/you/want/your/f
=> "string",

archive only
then, specify on the command line which share you want to archive (with
the -s option)
You can also create a virtual host, which point to the real host you
want (with $Conf{ClientNameAlias}) and that you can configure with
different share(s).
perform($$){
my ($logFile,$remoteHost,@cmd) = @_;
foreach (@cmd){
print "\n\nexecuting command\n$_\n";
#print STDERR "$_\n";
system("$_");
}
print "\n\n- End of copy -\n\n\n&q
pool and cpool, I think it'll be much more efficient, I
haven't finish it yet but I'll post as soon as it's ready.
Best regards

s to work (no more error
messages about hard links), but target directories are created
under /opt/backuppc/files instead of /opt/backuppc/files/pc/
(example, backups for host 127.0.0.1 are located

of /opt/backuppc/files/pc/127.0.0.1)

I cannot work because SMB and FTP doesn't support hardlinks.
I don't know what's the best solution for storing the data on another
server.

To migrate backuppc data, I use the command

it's quite long, depending on the number of files, and it can need a
huge amount of memory, but it's working. For a local migration, you
