Regarding the suggestion to put a Runafter block in the job to run the copy job at the end, that doesn't seem to be allowed. Run job=xx commands are not permitted in a Runscript as I just found out. It gives a not allowed command error. Perhaps there is another way to accomplish this? -Chris-

This is the final mods to Bill's script. It scans the catalog for volumes without a job, deletes them from the catalog and disk. There were a lot of orphaned volumes and this recovered ~1TB from my storage. In my setup, all volumes are in one directory and therefore have unique names e.g.

I don't specify "max concurrent uploads" so it defaults to 3 per manual. I have differing max part size for the jobs but the ones that frequently fail are 500Mb. I'm bandwidth limited to 6MB/sec so I don't see any benefit from trying to run uploads concurrently. My largest backup is 350GB that

There's been a couple of threads on this topic recently and I posted a similar question late last year. I get this error sporadically and haven't found any resolution yet. I just rerun the job, delete the failed one and it usually works. The job log shows that the backup completed with error.
