Good evening here,
I'm having an issue with the number of files that does not match between the
tape and the DB
Number of files on the tape is zero, while the tape isn't empty.
I'm using bacula-dir / bacula-sd 7.4.4 on a virtualized debian 9 server (SQLite
database)
15-Jan 21:00 xxx-dir JobId 5
The history of my problem is:
One of the backup jobs were performed when MySQL (catalog) turned into
read-only mode. In bacula log file I had a ton of messages like:
05-Jul 02:30 akademia-dir: AkademiaBackup.2009-07-05_02.10.00 Fatal
error: sql_create.c:732 sql_create.c:732 insert INSERT INTO
Hi there,
After last time recomendations to change our drive config under FreeBSD,
doing the usual btape tests all seemed fine and was working, but after a
few days running, volumes are starting to fail with this error:

Your tape seems to be bad or overwritten.
I suggest to try a bls on the tape and see if it really has any data on
it. The Bacula SD thinks the tape is e
working ? I backup 2.461 TB and I have 2.464 files, 1
files per giga ?)
Thank you!

Good evening Iñaki,
Quick feedback : new package of tapes came, error persists.
It "seems" if I umount / mount my tape, error is gone.

Can you post the output of the 'bls -j /dev/nst0' shell command with one of
these "empty" tapes

terminating the tape by Bacula when "TWO EOF" directive is set to

Hi all,
I am a new bacula user running 3.02 on Ubuntu 8.04 LTS. I am backing up about 7
clients(mix of windows and linux) to a DDS3 tape autochanger. After testing and
configuring for a few days I went live with this on Sunday with a full backup
of all clients and doing incrementals Mon-Fri.

Hi Folks,
I have been running Bacula (1.36, 1.38) on Debian Linux for nearly a year
now (I have tested several configurations, always on the same machine with
the same internal LTO2 drive).
Now I have reinstalled Debian (Sarge stable), compiled Bacula 2.02 on my
