Hi,
I've noticed that the controller frequently reboots with the latest 7.4
releases. Most of the time this happens when I want to use the
controller and the controller has to wake up. It tries to connect to the
network, fails, and reboots. Is this a work in progress or a bug?

Same here. Almost everytime when I don't use the controller for a while,
coming back from sleep gets me Please wait followed by a complete
reboot. Untolerable if you just want to skip a track or mute sound
because a phone call comes in.
Using SBS7.4-28352/SBC r7321 (running on Fedora 11) until
same with mine... did you report a bug?

There is a bug report I think the old one is reopened.
I also see this some times.
I wonder if it is like the last time around, if you disable controller
as player(beta) then this is much more unlikely to happen.

Mine hasn't been rebooting, but I have the suspend timeout increased to
the max of 1 hour so it doesn't go into deep sleep.

Yes. It was always blocky (needs dithering) but now it is blocky and
blurry as if it's being scaled up from a smaller image.

I'm getting an error trying to update 7.4, second update in a row this
has happened.
I always Uninstall previous version first, but keep settings prefs.
Error ocured trying to replace the existing file:
c:\Program
Files\Squeezebox\server\Bin\MSWin32-x86-multi-thread\cygwin1.dll
Do I just tell

You can try it. A safer way would be to resart your machine before the
upgrade.

neither faad nor socketwrapper use cygwin. However both faad and
socketwrapper would be in use when transcoding.
I believe you had a player (probably paused) which still has a socket
open to SC and the Windows applications were stuck waiting to write to
the player or possibly read from SC and
Are Internet Radio menu items purposely absent now in 7.4? I'm missing
menu items like RadioIO, More Radio, RadioTime. The Apps are installed
(I think) as they were all working via MySB prior.
Better double-check them, as migration isn't fully baked yet.

I did a clean install of Version: 7.4 - r28372 (beta), then had it clear
everything and scan the iphone library. Everything is working fine for
me. Hope this helps others

When you try to start a Last.FM station it waits indefinitely. It
doesn't start. How to reproduce: Take your controller, go to Last.FM, My
Stations. It doesn't open 'my Stations'. You can start a Last.FM station

When I'm using last-fm from My Apps on the controller it works
perfect.
When i'm using the last-fm icon on the *home* menu, then i get stuck in
the
first submenu.
for example choosing My station gives endless spinning circle.

I don't like having all apps thrown into My Apps in a flat list, i would
much prefer so kind of logic ordering/sorting, even if it's a extra
option with flat list as the default. For example, have the apps
organised into sub folder categories in 'My Apps' much the same ways as
the 'App gallery'
There is a bug on the artwork quality that you may want to vote on:

I'd guess they will have a apply this App to all players option, maybe
just not implemented yet.
Another idea for future Apps would be a simple review grid on MySB
showing all players (down left side) and all Apps (across the top).
Simple check marks to show which player has which Apps. Maybe

My SB3 can't connect to test.SN, but using my browser I have no issues

I'm seeing an issue I saw before on OSX 10.6 and I've seen reported by
others on OSX 10.6 but I'm seeing it with ubuntu.
I just updated to r28379 and after a while it stalls due to excessive
memory use. It consumes 1GB of memory (not reserved, used!, that's all
it will get on my system).

for choosing plugins in App Gallery maybe have the same for My Apps. I
was adding that it would be great if those could be customizable in some
way. Have very few Apps? Then you don't need My App

at all.
There is a valid idea to have this for pandora or last FM and napster
