Hi folks After finishing the special count at Port Weller with John Black,
where we tallied Yellow-throated warbler, Fish crows, Red-headed woodpecker,
Scarlet Tanager, etc., Luc Fazio and Dan Salisbury went looking for a reported
Hooded warbler near Fonthill at Sandhill Valley off Station
this mornings special count, we also had 2 Fish
Crows calling repeatedly at the edge of the wood, and a RED-Headed Woodpecker
amongst many other birds including a GH OWL.

Yesterday, It was Dan Salisbury and Luc Fazio that found the Fish Crows in Ft
Erie, between Gilmore and Catherine on Torrance
Aside from an imm. Iceland Gull at the Whirlpool, 3 Bald Eagles, continuing
Tufted Titmice at Dufferin Island and huge flocks of Canvasback, some Tundra
Swans... Plus
alls. The Exilipes ssp
Hoary is a nice frosty white with stubby pushed in bill, very little flank
barring and pure white rump.
As well, there are bluebirds at the RBG arboretum Rasberry House and Red
morph Screech owl In Woodland Cemetery

Western Grebe ( April 27th between 7:00 pm and 7:30 pm) was feeding at the
mouth of the Credit River, Port Credit (Mississauga)
It was between the "anchored" Ship and the river mouth. There was no other
Grebes around, only LT Ducks & mute Swans.
Best seen from the east end of the Cred
Crafts style house is visible. Go past it. Park in the visitor lot on your
right.
The feeders where the Hoary Redpolls have been observed are behind the
house and at the front.

There are at least 50 Am. Robins, 50 Am. Goldfinch, & 10 House Finches,
that sing most of the time, now on my street in Mississauga
