The Northern Mockingbird remains alive and well near Port Burwell and
was observed today at 1:30 pm.
It is located at "Monarch Landing" about 1km east of Port Burwell on
Lakeshore Road. It is near the feeder area in Ron Allensen's yard at

At 12 noon today I had my first look for the season of a Northern
Mockingbird outside my house. The Blue Jays announce their arrival so when I
tossed them a peanut the Mockingbird was there as well.

Greetings all!
This morning at 10:00am at the Sundridge/Joly Arena I saw a male NORTHERN
MOCKINGBIRD. The bird was singing and flying about the pines near the
historical log cabin. The arena is on the SW corner of Hwy 11 and Albert
Street N. in Sundridge, ON.

County Road 6 near Hwy. 33. This is just west of Amherstview. It was on the

I heard--and then saw--a Northern Mocker at 6:00 p.m. today in a hedgerow on
the property of Humber River Regional Hospital (Keele Site), 2175 Keele Street,
north of Eglinton. The hedgerow lines the east side of the parking lot which is
shared with the medical building at 2221 Keele Street.

Today, I listened to one of the two territorial male Mockingbirds on Clements
Road in Pickering. In less then five minutes, he clearly and almost perfectly
sang the following songs:
Willow Flycatcher, American Robin, Warbling Vireo, Downy Woodpecker, Gray
Catbird, Red-winged Blackbird, Northern
Had a visit by a Northern Mockingbird. It flew out after about
10 minutes but may be back. Seemed to be after the holly berries.

south Oshawa. I saw it about a month ago, and again this afternoon.

I explored an area by the Don River after lunch on Family Day. I spotted a
