Hello, I posted this a few days ago but it may have been overlooked so I'm
reposting. My apologies if I'm being rude; however, I cannot get my dial-up
internet working without this :-( Thanks.

Hello
When building the wvstreams package the configure script fails with the message
that I need openssl >= 0.9.7; however, I have already installed 0.9.8d
following the instructions in BLFS.
I examined the log and the configure script and found that the test for

Hello,
I'm trying to install the latest version of pciutils and it doesn't seem to
like my installation of zlib. Here's the log output:
Checking for zlib support... yes (auto-detected)
cc -lz lspci.o common.o lib/libpci.a -o lspci
lib/libpci.a(names.o): In function `pci_load_name_list':

Hello,
I decided to download lynx after all but found that the md5 is incorrect.
I checked the website and found that periodically the maintainers will release
a new version without changing the version number. The link provided in the
book is not stable; periodically it may be replaced with

Less can read web pages? :-O Well there's a shock, thanks!

Hello,
I've finished LFS 6.3 and would like to read BLFS while running my new LFS
system. However, BLFS is only available for download as HTML and PDF; LFS does
not seem to have a viewer/browser for these formats.
Is there a tool in LFS that I can use to convert HTML/PDF to another format?
