Hi:
I seem to recall that the exact same topic regarding ruby interpreter problems
were discussed on the blind programming list a while back, but I don't remember
the solution (but I think there is a solution/workaround).
I suggest you join the blind programming list and ask this question there.
Hi:
This is indeed strange.
I'm using Outlook 2010 over here and it works great!
The only thing I've done is to turn off the reading pane.
Outlook 2010 works very well with JAWS.
I'm using JAWS 12.0.525 on Windows 7.

John, you are absolutely right.
It's a translation issue.
I've looked at some of the messages David is referring to and I know that the
person is using Google translate.
He writes the message in his native language and just copy/paste the English
translation from Google into the email.

David:
Did you read the English text?
The text at the top is in Swedish and the English text (translated using Google

But the English text doesn't make much sense...

I'm using JAWS 12, IE9 and Outlook 2010 on Windows 7.
Everything works great.
I don't miss IE8 or Outlook 2007.
I don't use Excel, Word etc so I can't comment on how well they work with
JAWS12.

This is the reason why I build and configure a file server from scratch.
I have a file server running Linux.
I use Samba to share files with Windows hosts.
Everything is done from the command line.

Hi list:
I'm looking for a good SAPI 5 compatible voice/tts.
I'm running Windows 7 64-bit and I only have Anna which is default SAPI 5 voice
on Win 7.
I don't like Anna but she's better than Sam
I have some RealSpeak Solo voices installed but they seem to only work with

Hi:
The only issue I can think of at the top of my head is JAWS standard vs
Professional license.
If you own a standard license JAWS won't run on Windows 7 Professional,
Ultimate or Enterprise editions.
Windows 7 Pro / Windows 7 Enterprise is very common for businesses.

I can't help but I can confirm that it works as expected over here.
I have Windows 7 64-bit, JAWS 13.0.1006 and Outlook 2010.
I can navigate the calendar as expected with the arrow keys.
Left/right changes day and up/down moves between time slots.
