Yes most email providers will scan email for viruses. However they
cannot filter any viruses you will catch from downloading infected
files, visiting infected web sites, clicking on links in emails, etc. So

Hi Rick, thanks for the suggestion. I tried it with version 9 and
version 11 of JFW with the same results. I thought the local group
policy may have been set to use an update server other then
update.microsoft.com but that was not the case. I also tried it with

Chris, are you connected to an Exchange server? That tab is only
available if you are online with an Exchange server. It can also be
controlled via group policy.

David, here is some more on how a user can assign delegation and set
permissions using Outlook. Of course this does not hint on how I can
compose a message on behalf of someone else using JFW, but this is to
answer your assertion that delegation should not be assigned remotely.

nothing to do with adding another account to Outlook. I
have successfully opened one of my colleagues mail folders as a delegate
and can easily send mail on their behalf if I reply to a message.
However I can't seem to figure out how to compose a new message, on
their behalf, with JFW.

07 you can open up another mailbox without adding it as an account
assuming the owner has assigned you the correct sharing permissions.
