If you are using Windows XP, use the user mode virtual driver. This only captures sound from an application that is using the driver. The driver will work in Windows Vista and Windows 7, but you cannot use it as a system device simply because these operating systems do not support legasy

Does anyone use Total Recorder for their audio recording? When I upgraded to VISTA, then Windows7, Total Recorder now records my JAWS key strokes as I am recording an audio file, or an Internet Stream. I've tried playing with the play and record devices, but, everything I try works the same.
