What about the CTI Ports? I thing they need as well have access to the
transcoder. Because the prompts are not played at the CTI RP. Therefore
the CTI Ports are used.

Hi,
I try to invoke a transcoder by calling from BR1 to HQ to IPCC. From trace I

When calling Ph1 at site SiteA instead of going to VM the call should route

You are right Christian I guess I was assuming to much. I went on the
assumption that you are putting the CTI Route Points and the CTI Ports in
the same Device Pools.

Hi Ryan,
regarding your post about codecs, read this as question please.
I though, that CCM uses g729a and that would be g729r8. I have never
used g729br8. So I might be wrong, do you have any reference on CCM codecs?
Many thanks

I believe that checkbox is only on versions 4.2(1) and later. That
feature isn't supported on 4.0(5) but someone here may have a
workaround.

Hi,
QOS marking can be done on several places:
Servers traffic marking :
on ccm enterprise parameters : DSCP for SCCP Phone Configuration ,DSCP for
Cisco CallManager to Device Interface
on 6500: match base on acl ports
on router's uplink to switch : (match protocol ... )
IOS :
Steven,
I received them by ordering the NFR kit, i am able to do this, because i
work for a partner.
If you do not work for a partner, you should contact cisco marketplace or
your Cisco SE/AM, and ask what other options you have in obtaining this
software for study purposes.
good luck,

I guess I didn't word it correctly, how did you get UCCX working in
VMWare is my question? I have the NFR I work for partner. I tried it
over the weekend and you can't use the OS provided since it tries to
match the hardware configuration.

Marwa,
There are many things I can suggest, but the thing that has helped me
most is practice. Doing the labs again and again has been the best thing
for helping my speed. When you can finish an 8 hour lab in 5 or 6 hours
without looking at documentation then you know you are in good shape.
Quick question; Are your servers on Vmware with Intel or AMD? I tried
installing this weekend on AMD and had problems. I read a post that said
that CUCM (at least) can not currently be installed on WMware/AMD.

I dont see codec G729br8 in there.
That is the codec Call Manager uses for G729.
You did get the call-forward pattern .T which is good, but the codec is
missing.

Just as the thread below said. MOH should be done through the script editor
of holdDelayunhold. That will use the user hold and then you need to
find the annringback.wav file under c:\program filesciscotftpunited
states (I believe) and set that as the network hold for the CTI route
points.
Right James. There is no such option in Unity 4.0(5) however here is what
can be done as a workaround (if you do this it will be system wide and not
only for one instance):
1. Create a custom prompt you want to be played instead of the standard
greeting (Please wait while I transfer your call)
Apprciate Ryan for your kind response. I will test it tomo and update you the
status please...
thx,
