How do you fix this annoying issue when after I reverted the snapshot the
vmware images of Pub and Sub, something keeps typing k. I have already
rebooted but to no effect. I'm using VMware Server 2.0. I also notice this
on Proctorlabs as well. My Unity image is fine after snapshot revert.
That is default,
VMware has to do this
Its a software fault

Hi All,
I am having a cisco 2851 gateway on which 8 FXS ports are available. I
enabled MGCP on the gateway and registered my gateway to it. Once i added
the endpoints, i can see out of 8 FXS ports, 2 of them to be as Rejected

Thank you. Is this valid also from a conversion from rtp-nte to h245-alp ?

I just test call between ccm and cme. Both side ip phones can see caller name
when call is made from cme to ccm,
but if call is made from ccm to cme, olny cme ip phone can see caller name. Is
it a ios bug or something?
Thanks.
Jeffrey

The kkk issue is not a VMWare issue. It is caused by IPBlue.
Close any issues of IPBlue running, and the spontaneous letter k entries go
away.

I've seen this before. Something is wrong with the way things are nested.
Can you post your config? When this happened to me, something did not apply
when I went from notepad to the router. If you post what is actually in the
router, I can likely spot it.

Do you have a transcoder available and registered on the IPIPGW? This sounds
like an issue where you may be having a supplementary services problem. If I'm
right, you probably can't hold and unhold the call either.

Can someone please remind me on what resources will be available to someone

You have a web browser that you can open to go to the doc CD as you stated.

This seems to alleviate the issue, might not be a fix but it works. I shut

Yes, I do. It is transcoding the differents codecs from this call. A simple
hold/unhold works also.
The only problem is related to the DTMF. When I call to the Unity from CME
phone It does not understand the DTMF digits.

rtp-nte uses dtmf transmission in-band and h245-a uses out of-band , that's the
issue, please try following-

Is not my case. The only Sip incoming call leg is at CM.
From CME to IPIP GW I have a h323 dial-peers.
From IPIPGW to CM I have a SIP Trunk.
But I tried to configure the SIP outgoing dial-peer at IPIPGW as rtp-net
digit-drop h245-al but it did not changed the situation.
Thanks for your help.

I remember Mark Snow mentioning at one point that there are certain
transformations around DTMF relay that are not supported in a CUBE environment.
I think this was it.
Have you tried changing the sip config to SIP-Notify with H245-Alpha on the
