Well...there is a game editor for games like Quake III, and others.
It involves 3D skills on the PC, using what amounts to a 3D Modelling
program to build new levels for the game.
It also involves programming and scripting.
He doesn't seem to be doing that though, simply adjusting standard game
you're right :)

Yeah, that's it. It's really hard to know how impressive this is. There
are lots of step-by-step instructions on gaming forums on what to do,
but if he's writing his own just by looking at the code there, then
that's a bit more impressive.

Looks like tribes has a really powerful config...maybe I should have
tried it out. :)
Anyway...unless he is Plasmatic, he is copy and pasting. The point though
is that he is really interested in computers, and has the mindset to
mess around with things until they work. That's really all it takes.
