Well, there are new power supplies that allow you to only connect cables that you need. You can also go with dual channel ram, which is pretty cool also. I've got an AMD 64 bit proc running Windows XP 64 bit with 1GB of dual channel ram. File operations and a lot of things run great. -Origi
