Slugs are too good for them. These guys are far lower in their evolutionary
development than any mollusk - I would put them at the level of dust mite or
african dung beetle (as opposed to the European, which is quite a different
variety altogether).
I would offer, however, that, like all creeping
were we in your situation. I cannot imagine how horrible it
must be to actually have it happen, but you have all my sympathy.
