This rant is typical of what I read about. Of course, one doesn't really
hear the "I love them" stories in reviews, but still. It certainly seems
that you have to whip up a pricing matrix to see what you're *really* going
to be paying after they nickel and dime you to death. Then there's the

FIOS doesn't have the sunday ticket.
as long as directv has a monopoly on the sunday ticket (and i'm not
living in the NY/NJ area), I have no other option than directv :\
i do want FIOS for internet tho :)

Well.. when I was in Texas at my brother's house, his DirecTV kept going out
because of the storms. Almost on a nightly basis.

I've got DirecTV for the sunday ticket (Giants fan living in Cali).
The only reason I have the satellite vs cable is the Sunday Ticket. I
really have no preference one way or the other... other than I
wouldn't opt for having to put a dish on my roof and run lines if i
