Just cause its .net doesnt mean its the best, if you like it great, i think
its crap. Would be a smaller better smelling crap if you could install and
natively run it on something other that a virus/patch box.

This just doesn't make sense. Backups are a integral part of any network
regardless of OS or Hardware.
Physical crashes of equipment, human error or some sort of disaster can
require that you have a backup that is easy to access and restore.
I don't care what it is, find a way to back it up.

I think they are more interested in being cool than MSFT. These two
companies reflect the personalities of their founders. Gates sees himself as
a dork who sees utility in computing and doesn't mind artlessly crushing the
competition. Jobs sees himself as a hipster who sells products for other

To me that expresses in a nutshell the strategy of both companies. Microsoft
isn't trying to be the best in every category. They want to be the dominant
player, but not the best, because being the best isn't necessary in their
