I made a rotisserie pretty cheap. It was safe and sturdy. I highly
recommend one.
FWIW,
My 70
Camaro had one and I hated it. If you weren't in the city, or within 20 miles of
the radio station, reception sucked!
My wife's 99 Chevy Venture has the windshield
antenna and it seems to work just fine.

Does anyone have a way to look up the part # for a fan shroud for a 69 Big
Block WITH Air Conditioning? I keep hearing different stories about things
on this and I need to see what the part # is for this.
Thanks!

It is true that the AM antenna will not effectively pick up FM. The way the AM only radios were made, utilizing a cheaper grade antenna with a higher grade internal receiver, it is virtually impossible to use an AM only antenna for FM stations. That is why when you have an AM/FM conversion done

How your motor is acting is how mine was when my cam went out. It had a knock, a big one, but it wasnt consistent. At idle it sometimes had it, then wouldnt. Usually if I got the RPM's high enough, it went away. Also caused the motor to run like crap, misfire badly. Eventually it got

Well, my opinion about color is that you SHOULD keep the original color. If it's the green I had, I wouldn't get rid of it. You know I had my car Chevelle painted Pearl White because I could stand that bland, semi-bright green. But now, if I had it to do all over again (and when I do repaint it)

Some say yes, some say no. I have seen a 69 that is supposedly documented with the 70-72 stripes although I have never seen the paperwork. You can get a stencil kit from any restoration parts supplier.

Talking about 69 stripes, before I did the restoration on my 69 lemans blue chevelle
there was a pin stipe doun the sides actually 2 pin stripes from front to rear.
Was this an option and does anyone have a picture of the correct stripes on their car
