OK, answer to question 1. No Chevelles ever came with an overflow system Question 2: You can add that one if you like. Some guys simply add an aluminum canister to the side of the radiator. It all depends on what you want it to look like when done. Tom

Just remember that a coolant recovery system is different than a simple overflow can. The coolant recovery system requires a different radiator cap and overflowed coolant generally runs into the BOTTOM of the recovery canister. Coolant is added to the canister and not the radiator when coolant
