I've equipped my El with all GW stuff but never had any issues with missing
parts/boxes. Maybe this was one of those things that slipped through the
cracks and wasn't caught until you opened your boxes. I guess the nice

I've changed 2 lock cylinders. In both cases I pushed a small (
1/8 in tip) thin screwdriver into the slot and wiggled it jiggled
the lock cylinder. With the right combination of wiggle jiggle it
came out. Good luck with it.
