Dale is definitely correct. If you have the dyno
sheet,look at the overal torque curve. Ideally,you want one as flat as possible
and the torque peak much lower than the hp peak.

will always have a bit a porting and smoothing around
the intak and exhaust ports. Other than good parts
selection and proper degreeing of the cam, thats a
great start.
