Does anyone know if there is a way to purchase Cisco courseware (like the
DQoS courseware) outside of taking the course?
TIA

Sorry, I just re-read your post and realized what you were actually asking
and I am sure there is someone more qualified than I to answer this, but, my
understanding is that the FIB is a destination prefix cache used in

FIB - forwarding information base
RIB - routing information base

Tom,
I am doing the same thing for the same reason you are. I am currently
preparing for DQoS and I am using the IP Quality of Service book. It seems
to cover everything, but in my opinion is a bit jumbled. Vegesna covers some
topics seemingly out of order and assumes some knowledge of concepts a

Thanks again

The copy of BSCN that I have has a single area config with 3 routers but
only one router config with only one OSPF process on page 126. I would
assume that the example in question would be making the point that the OSPF

John,
There are several Win based archive utilities available that can handle
RAR, TAR, ARC, and ARJ as well as ZIP. Check sites like www.tucows.com or
www.download.com. I use one called BitZipper that I got from Tucows that
works as well as WinZip.
