Scenario is a Corporate headquarters building, 3000 employees, 2000 in main
org, and 5 * 200 in sub orgs,
Corporate IT policy as regards Internet access is very tight eg site
restrictions, most protocols blocked, and extremly slow.
All five suborgs want to get around these restrictions but still
x27;cisco equip' route for this
will be much appreciated

I am a newbie
I would hazard a guess that, for an ISP(assuming thousands of users) to do
address translation would be a large technical feat, consuming more Hardware
and other resources than the savings on registered IP addresses could
justify
Please correct me if I am wrong

As a CCNA candidate with ambition to do further exams
would 2*2504s be a good place to start building a lab or would it be silly
to start just with tokenRing, (I have been offered 2*2504 for $1500, is this
a good price)
other 2500s seem to be more expensive?
