Hi, This could be fun, One port to capture all ports. If the port is 100Meg Full Duplex going into your captur device and your capture device can deal with all the requests etc made of it. How many 100Meg ports could you indeed view at the same time. My guess is not many. You would tend

check the spanning tree settings. probably the port on the catalyst is not in forwarding state as the dhcp clients try to get their lease from the dhcp server. disable spanning tree if you don't need it. if you need it, setting the ports to portfast might help. hth Reinhold -- Reinhold
