Hey Al,
It looks to me like you were studying from an older 407 exam prep book.
Cisco added quite a few WAN and Switch questions to the 407 test pool late
last year. Check the publisher's web site for errata and updates. I got a
large Chapter 11 update from the Sybex site for my 407 Study book

I have to disagree with you here Ole. I took my CCNA without hardly ever
touching a router. After passing my CCNA I realized that you really didn't
need any hands on router experience. The test can be passed easily without
any hands on experienc
ed for that purpose.

You did not know enough about the material to pass the test.
I do not know what you have used to study, but here is what I would do:
1) Read the material until you can answer the study questions 100% correct.
2) Get another study guide (two o

hey no big deal look at it as $100 invested into the future ..
No one said the tests will be easy ( sure few have but many know better)
What's the big rush if you pass this week next week or in 10 weeks what
is the most important fact about passing.. ?
Some silly letters after your name or
ent before taking your
second try at it.
Is there a reason to rush it now that you have to take the version 2.0
exam??

I missed it also, and that puts us both in the same boat.
The 407 was CCNA 1 and now we have to study for the 507 or CCNA 2.
Not exactly sure what the differences are but from what I understand
it's more into VLANs.
For router practice go to http://www.r1r2.com
Currently, the router labs are free.
Hi
I'm back...I just came back from the bookstore with Odoms 507 study guide and
Lammles 507 study guide...I did kind of feel that I did not really know the
information in "in-depth" enough...which is why I only scored mediocre at
best. [EMAIL PROTECTED] and kevin..thanks for the info and enco

Al,
You are now in a very powerful position, you HAVE ALREADY SEEN THE TEST!
This is practically legalized cheating! I and many others have taken tests
we knew we couldn't pass because we wanted a "sneak peak".
Here's a tip: don't memorize, know it like you invented it. In your books,
read
Unfortunately, you don't seem to be strong in any one area. I'd suggest
rescheduling it approx 4 weeks away and hit it all over again.
