As it states, there are 2 phases to the CCIE exam. First you must pass the
Written(qualification) exam. Then you get the honor of sweating through the 2 day
hands on

Seriously, I've been trying to get an answer to the question about whether
the survey really affects your score. (I apologize for bringing up this
annoying subject again.)
Well here in Australia we are lucky we get to write numbers on a bit of paper using a
black marker that ios usually in such poor condition no one steals it. You can in
fact cast a donkey vote IE start at the top and number them down or start from the
bottom and work up.

I totally agree with John. So much theory that you see in the CCIE written
is covered in the CCNP tests. Plus, it takes a while to get the CCIE number
behind your name, while you could have CCNP after your name after passing
just one more written test. I personally recommend knocking out
[demime could not interpret encoding binary - treating as plain text]
This speaks volumes about the fading value of the now "cram-based" CCIE
certification process (at least one aspect of it). Soon I expect to see
Cliffs Notes for Halabi, Doyle, Caslow, etc.
