I would suggest that there is not always a right answer. I have seen a few
questions who's answers are at best very ambiguous. On one of my recerts,
I believe I spent more time writing comments than answering questions due
to poorly worded questions.

How is that for a belated reply. Resorted my msg box and got a little

Oh just for the record, ever hear of a bandwidth domain? If you have
please let me know about it because I can't find it anywhere.
I know I've encountered that expression somewhere, whether that was in the
sybex CCDA books or one of the certificationzone papers I can't remember.
Anyway, as
Well, consider this too: Cisco has either monkeys or complete idiots
classifying the questions. Or maybe it's very poorly-written software that
does it. I'm not sure. But the bottom line: If you get a low percentage in
a particular topic area, it doesn't mean that you don't know that topic.
It sounds like you dont know the topics. The exam is VERY VERY easy for any
CCIE candidate, I find that if you are scoring 69% you do not know your
topics.
There is always a right answer in the questions, instead of complaining how
about you study the topics until you understand them?

Its the cost! here here..
In any case, the exam is fairly straight forward and basic, I wouldnt pass a
student if he scored 1% below the pass, because its clear that he doesn't
know the work.
If he scored 95% and was debating a answer, I'd be more inclinded to hear
what he has to say.

I totally agree with Kris on this, but with some sympathy reserved
to the origin of the post. The current RS is VERY elementary when
compared with it's beta. If you score around 80 in the current exam
I can tell you that number would be somewhere around 50 in the upcoming
exam. On the lighter
think you are from Mars!

Yeah Kris you are right. I lost about $120 on the CID and got angry.
Because of this, I converted a $500,000 Cisco network into a $300,000
Foundry network and my customer is really happy about it. ;-)I wasn't

I too got a 0% on the security portion of the CID. I passed the exam with
an 8--. I am pretty sure I had more than 1 security question, and I am
certain that I got at least 1 right. I came away with the impression that
maybe some of the questions I felt were security questions happened to, for
p.s. yes I took it personally. I had to give the score report to my boss!

Yeah but I can sympathize with you man because several times on the test I
think that Cisco is wrong. Usually, Cisco is right on and I have to agree
because the right answer is just
the other vendors as well.
