Some plates are attached to the axles, and some are not. If yours isn't attached to the axle, you can drill a small hole in the mast, opposite the axle, and tap the axle out. (loosen the tension on the halyard first, so the sheave doesn't get pulled into the mast. Position the mast so the sheave is
