All east slope Chukars are escapes from somewhere, hunting clubs or whatever.
The only "wild/countable" Chukars in Colorado, are in western Colorado, in
rocky areas, such as Cameo in Mesa County, and a few other spots.

Area parking lots. An adult Mew Gull has been around Pueblo since January,
though is extremely hard to find. This gull, makes 8 species of gulls around
Pueblo from 14-17 February. California Gulls are still lacking around Pueblo
right now.

final gull species total for the two days was seven species, no
California or Mew Gull. The Glauous-winged yesterday was a nice bonus.
A pretty good day of birding, despite to wind, that was very gusty at times.

many people were able to see the woodcock most of the afternoon.
I think from 1-5pm is the best time to look for it, since it is warmer and the
ground might not be as frozen, as it is early in the day. The bird has found a
good place to probe in the mud to find the earthworms.
