At the end of an early-evening walk, my wife and I encountered 8 Turkey
Vultures adorning a tree in a neighbor's yard (across University Ave from

Winter is waning, and here comes the cleanup crew! I saw 5+ Turkey
Vultures circling low over the vicinity of Arapahoe Road & University Blvd ~

Leon - that's curious, because 26 TUVUs flew over - and circled above - my
house around 6 pm on Friday the 1st. It took 15 minutes for all of them to
arrive. They came in one or two at a time and joined the circling, then
flew to the NW, came back, changed their minds and flew off to the NE.
COBirders,
My apology for this late report: A kettle of 26 TVs soaring over my house
on Thursday. Spring may be on its way, now I'm watching for Swainson's

This morning on the way to the dog groomer, Marjorie Jannotta alerted me to

Two days ago, Mar. 29, Urling saw, over our house, a Turkey Vulture headed
