Barn
Swallows were feeding over lake and land, but I could see no other
swallow species. About 500 Yellow-headed Blackbirds in a tight flock
hung out at the ponds of Cottonwood Creek, SW corner of the road
around the lake. Maybe another look if and when the rain stops
would turn up more birds.

It is loyal to the riparian at its downstream exit from the Park onto
private property.
It could be heard at a distance. At least 14 birders have seen it
Doug Kibbe discovered a WORM-EATING WARBLER this morning at Belmar Park
at the "entrance to the gazebo."
Probably a new bird for that site. Not too many records for Jeffco, I
believe.
