okay now add the settings info for
pingus-0.4.0-9mdk.i586.rpm requires libSDL_mixer-1.0.so.0, which isn't
provided by any pacakge in cooker (and seems incorrect, given that pingus
also requires libSDL-1.1.so.0).

Hello Vadim,
Two things... First: any rpm's found on nebsllc.com are not supported by
MandrakeSoft. Cooker is not the right place for these comments. The README
file in the directory told you how to report problems and bugs. Please do not
ignore these instructions or I will stop posting update

Title: RE: [Cooker] Conflicts?
This seems to be a problem that won't go away.
I have a similar problem and I have tried to make some corrections.
I also used the 3DFX drivers, the RedHat glides.
Unfortunately, I don't have any success story to write about.

When building a rpm, there is an automated stage of finding requires and
buildrequires. Here are two improvments suggestions:
-automaticaly add a buildrequires foo-devel for each requires foo
-automaticaly add requires foo = version for devel packages

I just installed Mandrake 7.2 on my laptop, and during the boot process
it tries to load the module snd-card-ymfpci, but it says it cannot
locate the module. I'd like to know how to resolve this problem so I can

Hi, all.
libdl.so.1 was removed from Mandrake distro starting w/
7.2... and I have programs that requires them to run.
Does anyone know if Mandrake will be putting them back
for backward compatibility?
If Mandrake is listening, could you please put it back?
Thanks in advance.

Right that was a surprise to me too. This has exposed yet another problem
in that even though I used "To: cooker" and "Cc: expert",
This looks suspicious in the Eterm SRPMS:
1/ Typo in the name: the letter "O" instead of the digit "0"
2/ Warning: tar y is deprecated, use j instead
when --rebuilding (three lines in the SPECS file)
3/ Requires imblib. Should this be libimlib ???
Besides that, works fine for me.

In the case of the Windows partitions, perhaps supermount simply wishes that
they would be removed? (-:
