I could not change it under "Edit Preferences - Themes" as if I clicked
on either modern or classic the only choice was "uninstall modern" or

Love the idea. Having one of these beasts and just getting the
knowledge to set it up has been a long haul - but worth it in the long
run! Too late for 8.2, but in the next release would allow Mandrake to
"take over" the laptop Linux market! - no competition in sight, a
perfect niche!

I had the same thing when using ALSA for a sblive. KDE mixer would
say master was at 65, while aumix said 0. After turning it up with aumix
this value didn't get saved after reboot. Didn't research it further
though as I switched to OSS.

Does anyone have any more information on this - search of mozdev and
google doesnt turn up anything interesting. The mozilla "prefs.js"

The chances are that very few of us have Speedtouch USB ADSL modems, but
are these drivers proprietary (I know one of the pieces is)? Thus they
will be on the commercial CDs. You neglect to tell us EXACTLY what the
problem is. Does the install stop, or are you just getting tired of

Ok at my work we have several Coblat raq servers and they require a https
connection to log into them. When i log in it prompts me to accept the
security certificate which i do. BUT when i log back in or am just doing
things within the cobalts www interface it get these error messages soo muc

The installer creates this file during install.
Depending on the version of the installer you're using, you will
find the file as:
/root/drakx/report.bug.gz
-or-
/root/drakx/report.bu
So rpmdrake should configure proxy for wget and curl.
In fact after updating to latest rpmdrake and urpmi from cooker, I could
retrieve the hdlist and add the media, but I COULD NOT upgrade packages
since curl cannot resolve URL because the proxy is not configured.

updates anymore since it was rebuilt.

We're in deep freeze, and it doesn't look like a fix if forthcoming for the
weird textures and funny colors that happen with XFree86-4.2.0 and the
trident 9397-dvd used in some laptops. I KNOW i'm not the only one
having this problem. This problem is there with the XFree packages
