Is there a good place to find out which 1993 Sting/1994 Traffic sets (opening
for GD) have Jerry guesting on guitar for the last song or two? This
information does not seem to be included on thejerrysite or deadlists. If you happen
to know whether or not he guested on any of these opening sets,
I was looking up a JGB setlist when I stumbled across the JerrySite entry for
the Merle Saunders Band show at Shady Grove in San Francisco on October 3,
1978. I love the Legion of Mary and Reconstruction bands so I found this
intriguing, since I know of no other Jerry & Merle shows in the three
Tomorrow night I'll be stuffing myself silly, but I'll also be picking up new

previously circulated copies, this new version is the complete

Can anyone here tell me what show that Relix CD release called "Vintage NRPS"
derived from? The liner notes neglect to say, but it sounds from that late
1970/early 1971 era with Garcia on pedal steel. I'm assuming it is from one of
the many Dead shows when the NRPS were opening. Anyone know w
Does anyone know when Buddy Cage replaced Garcia on pedal steel in the New

think Buddy Cage was in place by late '71 or early '72, so I'm asking when
was Jerry's last performance as a full time member of NRPS? Thank
I just recieved a nice 2CD set of the 1/23/88 Blues For Salvador Concert in

all the other musicians are great too. My question is - is this commonly
circulated from one particular source? And if it is, does anyone know t
Does anybody happen to have setlists for the Rio Nido shows on 9/3 & 9/4/67?
I checked the Deadlists site but only one song from each show is listed. I
located a two hour DAT, supposedly the soundboard feed from the 9/3/67 show
and I'd like to try and verify it's accuracy before spreading it aro

Wow, very cool! Thanks for passing that on. Yeah, what Peter says rings of

This will probably be of most interest to the oldtimers who can still enjoy

I have a lyric question. Hopefully, you'll know what I'm talking about. On
most of the Pigpen-era Lovelights, usually right at the end of his first "my
rider" rap and as sort of the trigger for the first real jam section, Pigpen
almost always belted out a few lines that all I can make out are:
Hiya,
I'm hoping someone here can help me identify a Dead-related recording that

The CD contains 8 tracks that total approximately an hour long. It's

Can anybody educate me about those unreleased Marin County Collective

plenty more wacky stage announcements from Kesey, Babbs and pals. An
