The current "1973 Project" at shnflac.net raises a question about the
2/22/73 setlist. I'm not sure about the "missing" songs in set 1 after Playin'.
The timings are pretty much identical to the versions from 2/21/73. Also, the
tapes that circulated a decade or so ago did not have these "miss

Jim,
Thanks for updating the list of circulating Dark

What you have there is the acoustic set from 6/24/70 early. It was broadcast
last December on the "Morning Dew" radio show, on New York's WBAI FM. It's
odd that the early electric and late acoustic sets weren't included among
the discs you received, but at least now the early acoustic set does

Hi. The show in question is the 6/21/71 Chateau Herouville
concert. High quality SBD tapes of Playin' through the end of the show have been
widely available for years, and recently some of the preceding songs (lesser
quality & with many cuts) have become available from the AM
broadcast.

This may be old news, but I heard that WBAI in New York

Cool! Thanks for passing along the info. Does the audience version, by any

absent on the FM recordings that circulate far & wide.

Just out of curiosity, by "recorded both concerts", do you mean that you
taped them, or that you wrote down the setlists? If the former, do the

The "hoax" thing is a bad joke that originated on the

As far as I know, the circulating copies of
3/16/68 are all missing AWBYGN. So, if your copy includes it, there's a good
chance that some unscrupulous person patched in the Alligator->->AWBYGN
sequence from another show, and passed it off as being part of 3/16/68. So, what

I was wondering how certain it is that the tape that has

Hi. This is totally random, but I was listening
to my old audience tape of 7/11/70, and for some reason it popped into mind that
someone had said on this list a couple years ago that their master reel of this
show was labeled "7/9/70". It may have been Kenny Schachat, who seems
