It seems that when
nges. This seems to make it not possible to
discard changes in the expected way.
Exact.
I fixed the problem in Grisbi upstream at
https://github.com/grisbi/grisbi/commit/76c4dbb62bae791129b509b297800c98b2b0cd96
Do you think it is important enough that I need to make a new Debian version
*not* plan to drop support of i386.
Why not use the proposed patch on Ubuntu *only*?

the filtering enabled by default.
So it will not be needed for each GNU/Linux distribution to change the
packaging of pcsc-lite.
I should release a new upstream version and a new Debian package within a week.

r firmware issue?
The problem is not with pscsd. I am not sure I can help here.
You can try to report the problem on OpenSC-devel mailing list. Maybe someone
with YubiKey experience can help.

Tell me if you're interested in my digging more deeply.
It could be interesting to have a pcscd log as documented at
https://pcsclite.apdu.fr/#support
Thanks
