Debian Packaging System and libncurses5-dev

I needed to install libncurses5-dev, but it wasn't on the CD and my NIC still isn't working in Linux. (It's a NetGear FA311 if anyone has experience with it.) I switched into Win98, downloaded it, and went back into Linux. I copied the .deb file into /root/ and ran dpkg -A libncurses5-dev-y

X Install and No Mouse
