J'ai fait une sauvegarde de type systeme du répertoire data/base/ma
base avec un tar.
J'ai copier ce fichier tar sur une autre machine et je voudrais bien
voir apparaitre ma base sauvegarde sur cette autre machine.
Et ca ne marche pas.
Que faire? je n'ai pas moyen de faitre un pgdump sur la
une base de même nom avant de rebalancer
ton backup. *Peut-être* qu'une sauvegarde de tout /var/lib/postgres
aurait été plus judicieux !?
Sinon, va voir les archives des listes de discussions consacrées à
PosgreSQL. J'imagine que tu n'es pas le premier...

I ended the postgresql-dump early and all I have is a saved.data directory
and a db.out file. How do I recreate my database from one of these?

datos son incompatibles de forma que antes de empezar deberás hacer un
¿pgdump? de todas las bases de datos que tengas para poder incorporarlas

smooth (thanks Progeny) and the system seems to be working well. My

No pensais que es un poco raro que en potato postgres instale su $HOME
y todos sus ficheros a partir del directorio /var ?
Por qué el createdb me falla al incluir el parámetro -h localhost y lo
hace bien al no incluirlo?

I've just installed postgresql 7.0 from unstable. Everything is ok,
except for the do.maintenance script. Right now it's running for 392
minutes eating up 70% CPU constantly, though I have only 1
postgres database and no data in it.
