Thanks for tracking this, Riley. I agree that we are ready to VOTE.

The podling name search has completed and our name was approved![1]
I think that's the final thing we needed to take care of unless there's any
issues with out IP clearance. If so, I think we're ready to move to a VOTE on
graduation.

Very good, Joe

I think we shouldn't restrict ourselves to Earth science here. We could

FYI. We are in discussion with NASA JPL on using SDAP for planetary science.

Ok, I've cleared all the red flags.
I used today's date for dates I didn't know. I don't know if that's ok.
Still waiting for the name search before we can proceed.
I think once that's done and (hopefully) approved, we can proceed to vote!

The sites seem to have been rebuilt but the red flags are still there...
@Julian, did I miss something?

On it! Making notes of what I'm finding where, archiving URLs for searches and
entries where possible.

Ok I updated sdap.xml to reflect the project's status as best I could.
- Added releases to the News section
- Updated table for mailing lists, source repos, mentors, and committers
- Added dates in the Copyright and Verify distribution rights sections.
(Replaced -..-.. with today's date)
You should document what you did, and what you discovered, in the Jira case.
Evidence that you have searched and found nothing will help get this to
approval. SDAP is an unusual name, so it’s no surprise to me that there are few
clashes.

Thanks for looking into it. Sorry it was a false alarm. It’s likely that those
red flags exist because the incubation metadata is out of date.
It’s worthwhile to spend the time updating the metadata. I believe the
following are the important files:

Hey Julian,
I'm also starting up with a Podling Name Search, though I'm having difficulties
