There is already a flag to turn it off at the bottom of the commit you
pointed to.

blockers.
I'd like OWB to be released though because it has some fixes we need.

Thanks for the additional thoughts Thomas.
I'll wait for some more thoughts and I might create a poll and let everyone

Agreed ...
1.7.x - EOL
7.0.x and 7.1.x - mostly similar so if we maintain one, we should maintain
the other.
But I agree that 1 actively developed version (TomEE master/TomEE 9.x) and
1 maintained version (TomEE 8.x) is good.
That'd be my choice.

Yes, I'd like the JAX RS issues to be fixed, because it's a provider
ordering or discovery issue on the client side.
It's taking a bit of time, I'm sorry

master to a TomEE maintenance branch and switch master
to jakarta, we can do the relocation in the source itself.
Of course the downside is maintenance cost as we'll have to backport to
TomEE branch with the packages always conflicting.

the cost of maintaining both TomEE 8 and TomEE source tree.
But looks like to do that we end up by duplicating pretty much the entire
TomEE tree but the examples.
Is it worth it?
Should we move master to Jakarta and leave a maintenance branch for TomEE 8?

Hi all,
We opened some challenges for EE 9 for JPA as an example.
Most of them got accepted so tests are excluded in EE 9.
In EE 8, we run them because they are not excluded but they are failing.
Should we exclude them even though the challenges haven't been opened
against EE 8?

Hi,
Probably more for David, but writing openly so more car learn like me lol
I tried to run the sigests for EE8 and EE9 but I don't seem to be very
successful.
Do you have pointers to help?
