Well, I've got a cheap Belkin wireless router (F5D7230uk4) and it works
fine with 2 xSB2s. I have a Belkin Access Point to boost the signal
upstairs. I had an initial problem with dropouts when using 128 Bit
WEP encryption which was solved when I switched to 64 bit.
I'm completely non-techie,
I've gotten accustomed to running the latest rpm
available and tried to search items while a song
was playing and got a dropout for about 2 seconds.
I thought with the introduction of SQLite, this
issue might have been solved.
I have a celeron p4 2.2ghz with fc3 and a bunch of

I get an invalid/corrupt message when un-zipping. WinXP native
unzip...

It did work fine for me on the email copy I received, using the Windows

story townhouse for a couple years now. It's very simple and
interoperability doesn't seem to be a problem as I have a mix of belkin and

I am in the U.S. and you are correct, we have 3-wire ~240V with a singel
neutral and two hot ~120V taps that are 180 degress out of phase with a

I've been on vacation for the last 3 weeks, and havn't been keeping up
to date with SlimServer... Last night, I was pleasantly surprised to
find that Replay Gain had been implemented in firmware 22! Hurray!
Smart Gain was another loverly suprise.

I just tried the obvious Windows remedy, uninstalling and reinstalling,
and SlimServer seems to run fine now. Of course this means that I have
to rescan the library and reset all preferences, but at least it
works.
I uninstalled SlimServer, moved lame.exe to the C:\Windows folder,
deleted the

For what it's worth, I've noticed this about the SlimServer Windows
installer... during the first SlimServer setup, the service installs
fine. Any subsequent setups (i.e. upgrade), the service is deleted and
the replacement service entry fails to install
Ok here is a wierd one.
I went to listen to some music on the SB tonight and noticed only one
channel was working (right one if that is relevant), so assumed it was
a loose connection to the amp.
Checked all cables and they seemed ok, played a cd and it worked fine
both channels. So I swapped
Never heard of this, but don't go for the head exam just yet.
What format were the files that only played on one channel?

I have a problem with disk images encoded in Monkey audio APE files
with CUE files. I cannot change tracks during the playback. When I
press the next track button, the squeezebox displays the title of the
next track, but always starts playing the first track. It is the same
