CD players have a stop button because when you use Pause the disk is still spinning. If the SB/SS were to work the same way as a CD player the stop button would either 1) return you to the start of the current playlist (start of album for me usually) and to star again at the begining of the track

Note you should not be charged duty! The Squeezebox is made in the USA and so it is duty-exempt under NAFTA. You *will* be charged both GST and PST specific to your province. Yes, it amounted to about $48 IIRC. UPS can be cute and will sometimes charge customs and brokerage fees (not duty)

I've experimenting with higher sampling rates encoding a few DADs (classic records 96/24 recordings) into FLAC files. My laptop was able to play the 96 kHz 24 and 16 bit FLAC files. However, the SB3 would play them at slow speed. The higher I can go is 48 kHz and 16 bits resolution. 24 bits

Hi, I have exactly the same behaviour since I upgraded my iMac to an Intel and using 6.5.b1 ; the playlists are shown but nothing is inside (songs or artists or genre are OK) - my music is on the same Mac but in the Users/Shared folder as I did before with my iMac G4. Anything to check
