I installed the Oct. 4th nightly this evening (SlimServer Version: 6.5.1
- 10169 ) and appears that MusicMagic is back in business for me now.

So, last week I upgraded to SlimServer v.6.5. Since then, I have not
been able to get MusicMagic to work correctly. I've reinstalled
SlimServer a couple of times. I have no idea what the deal is. It's
surprising to me that I'm the only one with this problem. Also, there
seems to be a lot of dupli
The 6.5.1 slimtray has a new entry for controlling automatic start.
You can only change the setting when the server is stopped.
Also - recent 6.5.1 installs have set my service to manual no matter
that automatic was checked in the install.

jvc-dvd only for the Squeezebox, and disabled jvc-dvd for the

SC does have very limited functionality remaining with 6.5 - you can
start and stop a song, you can skip a song i think. you can NO longer
see the tracks that are playing and you can'y raise or lower the
volume.

I have set alarms to play an mp3 radio stream in teh morning.
It cuts out after ?20 minutes. Is this a feuture of the alarm plugin to
switch off after so many minutes?

Tried running scanner.exe from Windows XP command prompt. Scan ends

I would set one to respond to the JVC codes, the other to respond to
the Slim devices codes.

(just for your info :-) works great with iTunes "-e "WAV Encoder" -a

there I hope set them up so long ago no idea what all the switches do
now! Thats the problem
I play FLACs -whatever the bitrate is for them (ripped with EAC in safe
mode).
I will try bringing my SB 1 feet away from the router and see if the
problem persists... if it doesnt, then I think we found out that it is
indeed the poor signal
