use the Fishbone skin, and I believe it's a bug that was fixed at some

I have my old Slimpy in the attic sync'ed up with my new Squeezebox 3
in the living room to give round house audio, and that's great.

It looks like one of those stations which has no service on port 80 only
1755 but SS wants to communicate in port 80 first and so you get 404.
If it is the same - it was noticed in 6.3.0 with Talksport and was
fixed in 6.3.1. but seemed to have reverted in 6.5

Sounds like you've changed skins and mixed up some components. Clearing your browser's cache should put it to rights. Another useful trick is to call a specific skin with http://yourserver:9000/Default

You could always try turning on d_scan debugging, capture the log file,
and look to see if you can spot some different messages which indicate
that the scanner has found a file but not liked it for some reason.
Having found one you then should be able to look for others with the
same message...

socketwrapper.exe application.

I disagree. No monetary payment was expected or promised. Slim Devices has been a for-profit company from the beginning. If contributors did not want to write code that could drive sales for a company, then they should not have done it. Nobody was misled or cheated.

play ripped DVD iso's from harddrive on an HTPC. The HTPC is also
running AnyDVD. The same company that makes the AnyDVD program

up batch renaming a few thousand files and consolidated all files into a
new Itunes library...surprisingly it all went smoothly and all the files
that didn't work play fine now.
