Could you be more specific about how SlimServer is shutting off your PC? Also maybe more details about the weird tagging / display, what exactly are you seeing? Honestly I'd recommend updating to 6.5.1 and resolving the duplicate issue, you could try contacting us in support if you need a hand.

that there are many reasons the tags don't show, but I disagree that FLAC only supports ogg vorbis. Most of my music is ripped to FLAC and all of the tags are in IDEv2, as recommended in the forums. Yooper, you didn't give us alot of informaton, but my first guess is that the album is in WAV form

There are probably numerous reasons why this could occur, but I had this problem on certain albums that were ripped to FLAC. I used dbPowerAmp to rip them, but I had set dbPowerAmp to use the wrong tag type for FLAC files - FLAC only officially supports vorbis comments. Due to this, Slimserver did

Are you plugged into an AV receiver? Many of them have way of adjusting the relative volume of each input via the setup menu in order to balance them all out. On my Integra receiver it is called "Intellivolume" and I can adjust each input from -6db to +12db. Very useful. -- Rick B. ---
