UI latency is generally caused by slowdowns in SlimServer which have nothing to do with the hardware interface being on the other end of a network connection. Trying to fit the capabilities of SlimServer into an embedded device would be impossible if it were any less capable than a complete PC. O

I think you could also use some of Erland's excellent plugins such as Dynamic Playlist and Trackstat. You can then put Ratings of 1-5 on your songs (I guess you'd rate all of your favorite songs as 5) and then create a plylist that plays everything rated only a 5. You can even choose which Genres
